FAQ for Registering as a Vendor

• 1. What are the documents required to fill the registration form?

  You would eventually need your Pan card, Udyam Aadhar card, GST certificate and a cancelled cheque of your business account to complete the registration on BharateMart.

• 2. Under Business information what is the difference between Store name and Online Store Name, can’t they be same?

  The store name is the name by which your story/company is knowns as now. However, the online store is the name by which you would want to be known/searched for globally. This could be the same however the online store name has to be unique as that is your online presence. You may type your desired online store name and it could be the same as your store name, If the name is available the system will allow you to keep it as is if not you’d be required to type in an alternate online store name.

• 3. Is GST Number mandatory?

  Yes.

• 4. Udyam Registration Number is Mandatory?

  Yes, for product listing.

• 5. Do I have to mention my correct annual turnover?

  You need to select a range. However, there is no validation on this field or any cross checks. This field is for your benefit, as your correct turnover will help us provide you with special schemes/offers/discounts/mentorship/training to you.

• 6. Can I choose multiple options in Categories to sell?

  Yes.

• 7. What is my sub-category is not mention in the choose category section?

  You could click on “Others”.

• 8. Do you need company account details or company owner detail?

  Both.

• 9. Who‘s photo id is required, companies or Individual owner? If we have to enter individual owners, then what will happen if we have multiple business partners?

  Photo ID of individual is required. In case of multiple partners, you would need to opt for the “Partnership” selection under Business Type and fill in the names of your partners. In this case, any one photo ID would work.

• 10. Do I need to attach my Business PAN or I can give my individual PAN?

  Both the Business and individual PAN will work.

• 11. How can I create my store?

  Go to sign in page and enter with your credentials. Go to “Account settings” from the dropdown under your online store name. Click on policies and enter the company policies in terms of company description, shipping policy, privacy policy.

• 12. What if I don’t have any policies?

  Leave it blank it is not required field if you don’t enter value in policies then it will not showing in fronted.

• 13. How can I add products?

  Login with your seller email and password go to Lest side product menu > Click on add product link >select product type >click on continu button and fill the whole product form >click on save button then after you can visible the product in your profile recently added Product tab.

• 14. What is Product name and category?

  Product name is base on product which your selling like E.G Shirts,Tops,Kurta & category mean which category product you want to sell like E.G Automobile product, Woman’s products , Kitchen product , etc..

• 15. What is SKU?

  SKU is product unique code base on seller can easy find the product for example Product name : man Strip shirts Product SKU : MSS101.

• 16. What is special price?

  If you wan to give discount for particular product set special price for this product with time period.

• 17. What is the significance of to and from?

  To and from is time period of spacial price like for how many days you want to give discount to customer.

• 18. What is visibility

  Visibility means products to visible in store in out portal provide 3 types of visibility

  • Catalog

• 19. How do I determine my tax class?

  Tax rules, on the other hand, depend on customer, product tax classes as well as customers' shipping and billing addresses, and store location.

• 20. What is URL key?

  URL Key means product URL base on customer can access the product Like product name is : Man’s shirt so that product url is “https://bharatemart.com/man/shirts.html”

• 21. What is meta tag and meta description?

  Meta tag and meta description is use for search engine optimization this basically use for google ranking on website.

• 22. What is related products?

  Related product is showing in product detail page this is use for like customer have to know this is related products of the particular product E.g Man’s shirt Related products is like Man’s blue shirt’s,Tie , Jence etc..

• 23. What is featured products?

  Featured products give you the ability to choose products that will be shown as “featured” from Magento admin area and depending on the configuration, those products can be shown on separate page on URL.

• 24. How can I edit my store?

  Login with your vendor account go to right side menu dropdown > click on Account setting > Add your company information ,Policy , Account information.
